Measured rather than assumed. This website was built the same way, and every page on it is checked for layout overflow and contrast before it ships.
Accessible because it is the same work
Keyboard operation, contrast that passes, and motion that honours a reduced-motion preference. Retrofitted later it is expensive, done from the start it is free.

A working thing early
Something you can click beats a document you have to imagine. The first version exists to be argued with.
One system, not fifty decisions
Tokens for colour, type and spacing, so the fortieth screen looks like the first one and nobody has to remember a hex code.
Verified, not asserted
We check the built thing in a browser at real viewport sizes rather than trusting that it looks right in the design file.
